Highway 61 have shared the stage with many talented artists
such as Tommy Castro, Little Charlie & the Night Cats,Chris
Cain, Eddie Kirkland, Phil Guy, Red Archibald, Teddy "Blues
Master" Watson, Layce Baker, Wylie Trass and Little Jimmy
King.
De
Anna Del Rio (Vocalist)
De
Anna Del Rio was born in the Bay Area, her musical career started
early in her youth, being surrounded by music. She started seriously
enjoying music in the church choir. At the age of 17 she joined
a group by the name of "KARISMA". After singing with
many talented musicians from the Bay Area in 1986 De Anna moved
to Nashville, Tennessee. De Anna join a veteran group called "BLACK
WIDOW", she enjoyed performing on cruise ships, and the southern
circuit.
Mike Lothrop
(Harmonica)
Mike Lothrop is well known in the valley
music scene. Mike has played with many bands and sat in with countless
others. Mike's energetic harp playing will make you want to get
up and move!
Joe
Graham (Bass)
Holding the sound of Highway 61 together
on the bass is Joe Graham, a Stockton native with a history of
performing in the music business. Joe lays down a groove as wide
as a four-lane highway, providing a solid foundation for the signature
Highway 61 sound.
Randy
Coss (Drums)
Laying down a phat shuffle or funky groove
is Randy.. Rufuss CoBoss

chrome over brass. They say that talent like this comes from years
of practice, or as the music world calls it, "a seasoned
musician"
Paul
Walker (Bari Saxophone)
Paul Walker, born in Woodland, Ca in
1953 learnd to play according at age six. From According to Clarinet
to Tenor Sax Paul was making a name for himself. He was givin'
the first chair postion at Stanislaus County Honor Band and later
played in the Symphonic and many Stage Bands. Paul also played
with the Modesto Jr. College Jazz Band and later the Cal State
Stanislaus Jazz Band. Paul has a passion and love for music. Paul
Walker was a member of a well known Funk band in the Central Valley
for the the last two years, "Soul Reason". Now with
his enthusiasm for rhythm and syncopation, Paul brings his expertise
ti Highway 61.
Wayne
Rinehart (Trumpet)
AKA
“Big Wayne” a Bay Area native, is a Jazz Vocalist and Trumpeter.
Big Wayne has played the trumpet ever since his father bought
him a trumpet from a garage sale at the age of 3. Through the
years picking up various other instruments Wayne never lost site
on the Trumpet as his favorite instrument. Big Wayne has had the
pleasure of sharing the stage with Mike Vax (Stan Kenton Orch)
, Al Green, Kirk Franklin, and Ron Kenoly. Big Wayne studied Music
at Diablo Valley College and was under the tutelage of Jim Hodges.
Big Wayne joined the band in 2001 bringing that Blues Flare and
feel with Jazz soul to the band. Wayne is influenced by the artistry
of Maynard Ferguson, Randy Brecker, Roy Roman, Herb Alpert, Bix
Biterbeck and Arturo Sandoval. Big Wayne endorses Calicchio Custom
